Pretty decent stay overall
I booked a standard double room for a night. The place was clean and staff was super nice despite being short-handed. The food? Meh. I had gammon and it was overcooked, while the chips were average. The bar area is nice, but if you’re expecting great meals, maybe eat elsewhere.

I had a lovely time enjoying a nice pint and trying out the outdoor patio with a view of the river. The garden area was great for soaking up the sun and relaxing with a good book. Just a heads up, the room could use a little upgrade, but it was comfy enough for a single night's stay! 🌞

The location was lovely by the river, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! I mean, it was comfy enough to convince me to skip my morning coffee.
But dear, the toilet seat was a broken mess! It was like playing a game of ‘how not to flush’.
